Crime rate is super high, employment opportunities– ha, where are they? On top of that there’s zero good education and housing is disgustingly terrible. It could be even lower if you asked me considering the lack of positively impactful opportunities in this area.

We’re in the south so of course living in Louisiana you’re going to have pretty decent weather. Not too cold and not too hot if you’re well traveled it’s just perfect. Winter season isn’t dreadful but the summer gets super hot down here. Amenities are okay but what more would you need than garbage pick up when there’s practically no snow ever.

Again, you usually get what you pay for. Yeah there’s only 11k of us here, but crime rate is still atrocious and education opportunities are a joke. I could deal with paying a little bit lower for my place, but I’m not here for too much longer before I must relocate for work. Read Less
