Allen Park: The Gem of Downriver

Allen Park, MI is an excellent choice of suburbs in the downriver area of Detroit. It is home to an excellent public school system and touts itself as one of the safest places in the downriver area. Shopping is excellent, and you'll find trendy shops and other popular stores in the shopping area known as "The Hill" near the north end of the city. The police of Allen Park are well-respected within the city for keeping it safe, given the notorious reputation of crime that the Detroit area has worked so hard to get rid of.

The weather in Allen Park is overall the same as the rest of the Midwest or Michigan. Cold and snowy winters with hot and humid summers. The autumn season, however, is very nice with colorful trees surrounding the city.

Overall, Allen Park should be at the top of the list for anyone looking to live in the downriver area of Detroit who wants an excellent public school system and very safe neighborhoods. Allen Park is an excellent choice for those looking to raise a family.
