If You Like It Hot, You'll Love Adelanto, Ca! 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) The first thing find out about living in Adelanto, California is that the summer weather is no joke! It isn't uncommon for temperatures to climb into triple digits for several days in a row. While there isn't a lot to do in this place I have called home for just over two decades ...Read More now, we do enjoy taking in a baseball game out at Maverick's Stadium, watching the races as people come from all over the country to speed along the famous dry lake bed at El Mirage Lake, and shopping at Victor Valley Mall. I love the wide array of stores there. You will find everything from Hot Topic to Barnes and Noble, and the food court has anything you could want, from Red Robin to Panda Express.

The homes here in Adelanto are of the older variety, which gives them a lot of charm and personality. Jobs aren't in great supply but they can be found if not here then nearby. There's tons of beautiful scenery, just enough to do to keep you from being bored without being overrun, and great people. It's a nice place to live in my opinion. Read Less
