The Basics and that Is It 2 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Living in Yazoo City, Mississippi provides me with the basics, but that is seriously about it. I would love to say that I enjoy living here, but I honestly just can’t. This place provides me with the basics and that is about it.

The crime rate here is terrible and is rising. ...Read More The local police department seems to do what they can do, but in my opinion there is just seriously a lack of good leaders in the local government. The local school system is in shambles. All of the schools are in need of upgrades and the teachers are struggling to meet the standards since the school system implement common core.

The best areas in Yazoo City, Mississippi that I can say are even decent, are seriously just the local people. For the most part my neighbors have been helpful to me when I have needed it. This is not a place where people go out of their way to help, but if you ask then they normally will help you out. Read Less
