Go to Sharon, Vici, Shattuck or Laverne if you have to move to this area 1 rating By Anonymous ( Apr 25, 2019) The movie theatre is nice and cheaper than anywhere I have lived. I have lived and worked all over the USA. Diartis Italian Rest. is good and affordable and other than that NOTHING is cheap and there is nothing to do, except go to the gym. Housing is high in price, low in quality ...Read More . God help those who get stuck here. Woodward tourism council must have written the other review. There are many nice people here but they make some friendliest town claim. I don't agree. There are many vacant and rundown structures owned by people wanting higher than reasonable prices for them. If it wasn't for the oilfield's rate of pay most wouldn't stay. There is nothing to do in the towns I listed either, but at least I felt safe there. If you will work in Woodward, move to Sharon. Crime statistics are improperly reported for Woodward and they may actually want to look deeper into them. Education in this town is far below national standard. Thank God I didn't have kids growing up in that system. This region has unsafe weather and unstable temperatures. Be sure you have a basement or storm cellar. Read Less

Woodward Oklahoma: The Home of Crystal Beach Park 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I experienced a marvelous stay while living in Woodward Oklahoma. The city is situated in Woodward County. Woodward is close to Mooreland Oklahoma. The small town has an unassailable education system in place. The district is on the top of the scholastic radar in the state of Okl ...Read More ahoma. Living there is economical, and employment potential is substantial due to its agriculture and cattle industries. I love the sense of safety the district has developed. From my experience, housing is less favorable. The weather in Woodward is great. Temperatures are nice year round.

Some of the best areas in Woodward Oklahoma surround Crystal Beach Park. The park complex has recently been renovated. It offers tennis, picnic area, and outdoor amphitheater, a horseshoe pitching space, children playgrounds, a spring-fed lake. The area also includes Crystal Beach Stadium and Crystal Beach Aquatics Center. There is a Mini Golf Course nearby as well as paddle boats, the Woodward Municipal Golf Course, and the Fuller Park Baseball Stadium. The district delivers a multitude of activities for children and adults alike. It is a marvelous town. Read Less
