The best areas in Woodlawn, Virginia are the views of the valleys that lie below Woodlawn and the views of the mountains that surround the community. While you won’t find a ton of shopping opportunities, you will find plenty of places to hike or have a picnic. You are literally in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains when you are in Woodlawn.

The downside of Woodlawn is that it is an isolated community. There are not a ton of things there to do as far as nightlife and teens would probably complain of nonstop boredom. Also, there are very few places to eat in Woodlawn, so if you like to eat out on the regular, then you might have to travel to a neighboring town to satisfy your tummy. Read Less
