Would not recommend living here 0.5 rating By winonanative ( May 28, 2015) I have lived in this town most of my life. The people are not friendly, the wages are very low, you have to go to La Crosse, WI which is 30 miles away for any kind of shopping, restaurants, nightlife or medical care. The public schools are going down the tubes and the weather ...Read More is terrible. My family moved out of this town so my husband could get a better job which he did, but we came back because my mother needed us around due to advanced age. Biggest mistake of my life. I'm currently going back to school for something that there are no jobs here, so I will be moving on soon and not coming back again. Read Less
