The Good, The Bad and The Reality 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) If you like small-town living, West Springfield is the best place, in my opinion. One of the benefits in living here is access to shops and businesses. There’s a nice mix of variety, and you don’t have to travel out of town for everyday items. The people are generally friendl ...Read More y and are as diverse as they come. A lot of the people who live here tend to be immigrants, but we all tend to get a long.

On the other hand, like most cities, you’ll find West Springfield has a proper mix of areas better left untraveled. As a local, you’ll figure it out, but it’s best to be advised. The school system is really good though, which is shocking but justified. Teachers and many parents are active in their children’s education which is a nice change from where I’m originallyfrom.

As for entertainment, there’s the Holyoke Mall, and the annual Big E fair, which brings a lot of people to town, but also in equal parts, traffic. Read Less
