West Pensacola is an inexpensive place to live, but it also has the same problems that many other low income areas experience.

A big plus to the area is the extensive public transit that is available, with even a bus route to Pensacola Beach. There are grocery stores close by in West Pensacola, but if you want to go to a grocery store further away, then you can always take the bus if you do not have a vehicle.

There are plenty of things to do in West Pensacola, like visiting parks and museums. And, there are all the outdoor activities associated with rivers, lakes and the ocean. Did I mention that Pensacola Beach and the adjacent and less-populated Fort Pickens beachfront park are both only minutes away? I am a big fan of the beach and enjoy living so close to great public beaches! Read Less
