WORSE CITY EVER!!!!!!! 1 rating By Anonymous ( Oct 11, 2018) I bought my house 2 years ago and wish I could move. In 2 years this city is turned into the ghetto no matter where you live. I was a taxi driver for 4 months and was stunned at how many people felt the same way. The officials in this city are totally lazy. The garbage men pick a ...Read More nd choose what they feel like picking up even though there are guidelines about things they will and will not pick up. When I moved in I had 4 large boxes the I used to put in boxes that were broken down so they were neat. Only 3 were picked up and the 4th looked like it had been kicked over so I had to pick up all the flats and replace in the box. Suffice it to say I ended up taking it to the dump. Then I put my bills out to be picked up by the mailman and they were not picked up. When I called the post office to find out why I was told that if there is no mail delivery for the address then they are not required to pick up outgoing mail. If this wasn't bad enough the police are worthless. Most of them are very young and they love to stop someone for not pulling over and stopping for a funeral procession. Yes it is a courtesy but some people are on time schedules and cannot do this. The worst part is that city officials don't care about their residents. If there is parking on the street in front of your house the neighbors can take up the entire space and it is ok because it is public property so if you have company and there is no place in front of your house to park they have to park down the street. And don't bother calling the animal control for a loose dog that barks non stop because nothing will be done. According to them if they cannot catch the dog...oh well. So even tho there is convenient shopping it is not worth living here. Also there is serious age discrimination if you are looking for a job. When I retired from the military I was told this would be a good place to retire, BULL!!!!! Because I could not find a job I was forced to live in my car for a year. Save yourself heartache and headache and do not choose this city to live because you will regret it. Read Less
