he rural parts of Northern Jersey most tourists don't know about.
Wanaque is only a few steps from the state line of New York, so I have my choice of peaceful and quiet roads to travel when going to work or any number of shopping malls in the area. Living in Wanaque is like being in the wilderness for me, with mountains, plenty of forests, and the Wawayander State Park around the corner.
The best areas in Wanaque are the countless bike, walking, and jogging trails, all positioned around parks as far as the eye can see. My neighborhood is isolated from the highways, slow, peaceful, and definitely quiet.
