us the chance to get into the city whenever we’re really missing the excitement and energy. If we feel like taking the train the commute is even shorter - about 15 minutes.
Downtown is so nice to walk through! There’s the stone church, the lake, the commons - and during the holidays there are plenty of family-friendly events that you can check out. The restaurants are getting better than better, so we don’t find ourselves traveling into Boston quite as much for delicious food. While I’m sure there are crimes that happen here, it’s not something that you hear about regularly so we feel very safe living here. We absolutely adore Wakefield and I couldn’t see raising my family anywhere else!
