Villa Rica, Georgia is where my family and I currently reside and we really enjoy the local community. We work in Atlanta and the commute is okay. It really depends on the day just how bad the local traffic is.
Living in Villa Rica, Georgia gives us a true sense of what a small town would be like. It has tons of charm and history. Locals still refer to this area as the “City of Gold,” due to the mining that used to occur here in the 1800’s.
The best areas in Villa Rica, Georgia is truly the small neighborhoods. People sit on their porches in the evening and children ride bikes down the sidewalk. Everyone is helpful and kind.
The downfall of the area is that there are not many restaurants or stores here for shopping needs. Sometimes a trip into nearby Atlanta or one of the larger surrounding towns is needed for more than just the basics. Overall though having to travel for those things are worth it for the peace found here.
