Union City, CA - Fun Place for Family User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 05, 2010) Union City, Ca is such a great place to go if you are looking for a quick trip. I live a few hours away and both my friends and my family often travel down to Union City for the nice attractions and various other things to see and do. There is plenty to do from seeing the Joanne ...Read More Brown Dancers, to going on the Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream Tour. The kids love the opportunities to go swimming and eat out, but if you are a parent you want to keep a close watch on the children because its not the best neighborhood.

Union City is full of young people and young couples, my husband like to go paint balling and there is a great number of parks around. Union City seems to be really diverse and has a lot of ethnic cultural displays all around. My friend and I were lucky enough to try authentic Chinese dishes and real Hispanic home-cooked meals while we were there. Nearby is the iFly SF Bay Indoor Skydiving and it is amazing! You get to basically sky dive while indoors and its not that expensive either. Kids love to try it, and its very safe.

If you live near Union City, I would suggest dropping in and seeing what Union City has to offer you and your family, I don't see any reason why you would be disappointed. Read Less
