Troutdale, OR: Don't Look Far It's Right Here! User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) Troutdale is a place where one does not have to go far to be surrounded by nature! Living in Troutdale is comparable to living in a forest at times, and I personally find it to be therapeutic. Coming from a big city, I decided to settle down in a smaller town. I was looking for a ...Read More place where the community matters, and Troutdale has made me feel like home ever since I moved here. It is easy to appreciate the balance between Nature and Suburb here in Troutdale, I've found that most in my community are also happy to be living in this type of environment.

Troutdale is not far from Portland, one of Oregon's biggest cities. I think the part that attracted me the most was the fact that I could live in a town where I can find the peace and quiet that I need, while still being in close proximity to a larger city. The best areas in Troutdale to get closer to nature are around Columbia River, where there are many nature hikes to be taken with beautiful scenery. Read Less
