Timberlane, Louisiana - A Great Place to Call Home! User Rating 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I love living here in Timberlane, Louisiana there is so much to do! People that live in this community are truly awesome and one of a kind. You won't find friendliness like this anywhere else, I can guarantee that!

The overall economy is in really good standing and we have a l ...Read More ot of job growth especially in the industrial sector. The school district here is really good too!

Shopping consists of mostly downtown. It almost makes you feel like you took a step back through time and are walking down Main Street in Mayberry. There are specialty shops that cater to furniture, clothes and antiques. I really like the store that's located here that's full of hodge-podge and homemade items. It's almost like having our very own Etsy store live in our own backyard!

There are several different community get together's throughout the year too. These usually consist of festivals or are to commemorate a holiday like the lighting up of downtown for Christmas. It's great! Read Less
