tremely low, and there are attractions for any personality type.
The educational options are vast with many public and private schools in the city. However, the graduation rate leaves something to be desired at only seventy-eight percent. The crime levels are also undesirable. However, there are some safe neighborhoods such as the downtown and Iron Mountain areas. Home prices in Texarkana are forty-two percent lower than national averages. This makes buying a home here extremely easy and cheap.
Employment in Texarkana is relatively easy to find. However, the average income is lower than the national average. Unemployment is a staggering nine percent. If you're planning on moving here, it's smart to have a career plan ahead of time.
Activities in Texarkana are plentiful. One of my favorite spots to catch the nightlife scene is the Crazy Horse Saloon. It hosts a cozy atmosphere with fun and games to occupy you all evening. My favorite place to dine would be The Wine Cellar. They have a fabulous wine list and scrumptious food options. For a day trip, I prefer The Lindsey Railroad Museum downtown. For shopping, I love to visit the east side of town. My favorite store is Donna V Accessories.
