Temple City is perfect for when you're looking for a small city that's still packed with amenities and opportunities. Temple City is a short drive from Los Angeles. I've been living in Temple City and I don't plan to leave any time soon.

City is the very low crime rate, much below the state average. The cost of living and owning a home is considerably higher than the rest of the state, but it's worth it. The summers are beautiful, and there are so many things to do when the weather is nice. You can usually find a street festival or farmers market during the fairer months.
One of the best areas in the city is the Elm Center Shopping Center. It's a fun place to spend the day to go shopping or to get a coffee and relax. There's also a decent public bus system that can get you around the downtown area easily enough.
