If I could have found another job, or managed a career change, I would have stayed forever. We had our baby here, and th ...Read More e Augusta Health Hospital and surrounding health services in Fishersville was great. We had some flooding events so be prepared to make some flood improvements and you should probably get flood insurance even if you aren't in the floodplain. The politics are moderate, despite having a seeming polarization. A good example is on one street, there is a confederate flag on one side of the street and an LGBTQ flag on the other side. A good example of neighborly live and let live, and the people, in general, are salt of the earth. Read Less

Staunton is the perfect place to visit or to call home. There is a great scene of arts and music, wonderful food to dine on at some great little restaurants and cafes, and if you want to shop there are plenty of unique shops to meet your shopping needs.
