For one the job market is weak in this area. You will not, I repeat, will not become rich working a 9-5 in St. Marys. Along with the job market, there also aren't a lot of activities to do here. Crime has been an issue for some time, and although there are plans to combat these issues, not much has changed.
You can find some newer homes for decent prices out on Osprey Circle, as well as Gary Circle. I guarantee this city is not as bad as some will make it out to be. Sometimes just staying to yourself and working is the key to survival. For me, I just live and enjoy the view.
