I really can't find the right words to describe how badly I dislike this place. Saint Joseph has the worst people living there, and every place I've been to looks and feels terrible. I actually feel like I may have caught a disease just by visiting or passing through. Wanna go sh ...Read More
opping there? Be prepared to face stupidity of the highest caliber, and see that city's citizens trash every store you step into (I've seen smeared feces in public places on multiple occasions, and I'm not talking children's amounts or even places they could reach)! Wanna eat there? You're gonna get sick each and every time. Work there? That's a joke. You'll feel your IQ drop by the second, and become so disillusioned with humanity you take time to seriously consider becoming a hermit, and they will not show you the least amount of respect or manners. (Luckily, only speaking from exposure to repeated offenses witnessed against employees in that area.) These people are ignorant and disgusting. Do not go there if you actually value your health and well being. Do not go if you want to actually enjoy your day. This is one of those places you wish you could hit the restart button for, or at the very least police manners and decency in public. I feel very bad for anyone who is forced to go there for work or what have you.

My husband and I spent four days in St. Joseph Missouri in May 2010. This was the perfect time of year to visit St. Joseph, because the weather was not too hot or too cold. This city is full of great history and amazing museums. We stayed at the comfort suites located at 917 Nort ...Read More
h Woodbine Road. This was a nice and reasonably priced hotel. We especially enjoyed using the indoor pool at this hotel. One of the must see attractions in St. Joseph is the Jesse James Home Museum. For a very small entrance fee we got to see this historical home where Jesse James was killed.
The second day of our trip to St. Joseph we visited the Society of Memories Doll Museum. I absolute loved this museum, but my husband did not. The museum had hundreds of different types of dolls dating back to the 19th century. There was also a lot of historical information give with many of the dolls.
The third day of our trip we visited the Pony Express Museum. Both my husband and I really enjoyed visiting this museum.
After spending just a few days in St. Joseph, Missouri , my husband and I have already decided that it will be one of our regular vacation destinations.
