Our Adventure In Saint Charles, MO User Rating 5 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 11, 2010) I went to saint Charles Missouri with my entire family two years ago and to be honest I didn't think I would have a very good time but I was soon proved to be completely wrong. There were many things to do throughout our entire vacation and when it was time to leave I found mysel ...Read More f not wanting to go.

We started our day in Saint Charles at the Augusta Historic Museum which gives you a brief history of august and a tour of four rooms with articrafts and antiques. Then we went to the Daniel Boone house which was built by his son nathan and also where Boone died. Then we went to the Confluence Point State Park to do some bird watching. There was so much to do that we barely rested the entire trip but it was wierdly relaxing.

In Saint Charles we stayed at a cozy bed and breakfast that offered a welcome home feeling for a reasonable rate. It was a refreshing place to lay our heads and a much better way to spend our nights then in a hotel. When we got hungry we went to a local restaurant in Saint Charles that offered home cooked meals. This trip was slow and fast paced at the same time. Although we weren't out dancing all night we did have the chance to shop and have fun. Read Less
