South Riding: Great For Raising A Family 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) We've been living in South Riding for almost ten years now, and we quickly realized that it is a superb choice for raising a family. The local school system is very well taken care of and there are many public parks that are very safe to spend time in.

Since it's close to Washin ...Read More gton and with so many companies headquartered in the area, there are a lot of excellent job opportunities and universities around South Riding. Naturally, this leads to local real estate prices becoming quite high, so keep that in mind.

South Riding Golf Club is possibly the best area in South Riding. It's a beautiful course and a great place to mix a round of golf with an informal business meeting. One area that South Riding is lacking in is diversity when it comes to shopping and restaurants, but there are enough neighboring areas that can pick up the slack if you don't mind driving a bit.
