Nothing to do as far as amenities are concerned. There is a generation gap made up of mostly racist boomers. Most people living in the city are alcoholics. Only thing good about the city is the lake, but even that has been destroyed by decades of pollution from the industrializat ...Read More

Living in Sheboygan is beach living at its best, in the Midwest. I have lived here for almost three years now and each year gets better and better. Sheboygan is located almost smack dab between Green Bay and Milwaukee and right off the coast of Lake Michigan. Sheboygan is a great ...Read More
tourist town with tons to do for the entire family. Once winter hits, it turns into a nice cozy little community and takes a break from the hustle and bustle of the summer activities.
If you didn't know you were in Wisconsin you could swear you were right on the Eastern coast. Sheboygan is known as the Spirit on the Lake because of the wind that makes it such a great place for all types of surfing. One of my favorite summer activities is watching the kite surfers over in King Park. Kite surfing is a little too extreme for me, so I head over to Deland Park, one of the larger surfing spots off the beach. We also have some of the greatest fishing spots around. Lots of people charter a boat for the day and enjoy all Lake Michigan has to offer, including some of the best sunsets around.
Sheboygan is one of the best places to raise a family. It's pretty hard for any child to complain of boredom here. Of course there are the beaches in the summer, but all year round there are plenty of activities to do. Spaceport Sheboygan is a great place to spend a day. It's the home of the Great Lakes Aerospace Science and Education Center. It offers interactive exhibits and even has a space shuttle simulator. Our Above and Beyond Children's Museum allows kids to explore and touch the exhibits, and the John Michael Kohler Arts Center has the most famous bathrooms this side of the Mississippi. Yes, bathrooms. They are a must see!
Living in Sheboygan is almost like living a permanent vacation, without all the traveling and packing.
