Security-Widefield, CO no no no 2.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) Widefield has been fun, but if it weren't for my job I would have never chosen to live here. I've been looking for a new one, but until I can find one we are stuck here. My kids have talked about other students dropping out of 8th grade. I couldn't believe it.

In its defense, it is more affordable than other places in Colorado, but it's still super expensive. The weather is nice most of the time, it gets cloudy, but I like the temperature especially around April/May.

The nightlife is pretty much nonexistent and the community just isn't there. Luckily for us, we don't really like to eat out, which is good because there are so few restaraunts near us. Everything you want to do like shopping and going out for date night has to be done at least a town over because there's nothing here.

I'll be ready when moving time comes. If you're looking for a place to live, I recommend avoiding this city. Read Less
