Great Location User Rating 4 rating By Nestor ( Aug 22, 2014) Sanford is well placed for all of what North Carolina and The South has to offer. We are two hours from the beach or the mountains, take your pick. While at home we have plenty of shopping and restaurants to pick from. Jobs are plentiful and Sanford tends to focus on manufacturin ...Read More g which incorporates such companies as Coty, Cat, Pfizer or Zurn. The down side would be the 80% high school graduation rate which is improving. Another would be a lack of high end dining. We do have The Steele Pig which is the best that we have in Sanford. Thankfully they are awesome. Our Historic Downtown does have a number of year round events and plenty of shops to enjoy. Read Less
