Cambrian Park Is One Of the Best! 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Jun 06, 2014) I have lived in the Cambrian Park, San Jose, CA neighborhood for less than a year. However, I have seen enough to know that it is one of the best neighborhoods where I have lived. It ranks in the top five in San Jose, and it is in the top 70 in the state of California. There are ...Read More so many attractions, shopping centers and office buildings within a short distance that while it can be intimidating, it also makes me feel safer. I feel safe because there are so many people in the area. It is very rare that I hear about any crime activity in my neighborhood.

One of the things that I would complain about is the cost of housing. My two-bedroom apartment is almost $1,700. It is a studio apartment, the amenities of the property are amazing, and the pool is relaxing, but I feel like if I had looked for a house instead that the payment might be less expensive. This is an average price though for the area. Fortunately, I have a good job near the neighborhood. I can utilize the numerous public transportation options that are available so that I don't have to drive my car as much. This saves on gas, but the gas prices really aren't as much as I thought they would be for San Jose.

When it comes to food, there are several choices ranging from the typical fast food restaurant to amazing pizza served at Round Table Pizza. This is one of my favorite places to go because the crust is hand tossed and the ingredients are fresh. I can see the cooks slice the vegetables in the kitchen, so I know they take care in preparing the food. Pasta Pomodoro is another restaurant I enjoy going to, especially when my family is visiting. I can get pasta with Alfredo or a delicious meat sauce with chunks of tomatoes. Along with the restaurants, there are so many shopping centers that I can spend days walking through them. There aren't as many larger malls as there are smaller shops that sell specialty items like gifts or appliances.
