La Jolla is like the Beverly Hills of San Diego. If you aren't a Doctor, or don't make upwards of 70k a year, you probably won't be very comfortable here. Talk about expensive. The beaches are amazing, probably the best in San Diego. So many great little secret spots on the beach to scope out where you're away from other people. Tons of upper class restaurants to choose from. The entire area just has that rich vibe to it. I'm sure you could live there with a regular job if you had a few roommates or something but this place is pretty coveted for a reason.

POSSIBLY MOVING TO THE LA JOLLA AREAHi. I am thinking of relocating from the Central Coast to the La Jolla area. I am a very young over 55 year old female. I am looking for home maybe in a resort setting with a pool, possilbly golf course that is a fun safe community. Is there anything like this in the La Jolla area? I welcome all suggestions
