Salmon Creek, Wa - A Fun City With a Low Unemployment Rare 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I enjoy the amenities within just a hop and a skip from my residence within the city of Samon Creek, Wa. In addition, the weather is great and employment is fairly well, one of the lowest unemployment rates among cities in the United States.

So much to do in Salmon, so much opp ...Read More ortunity. Definitely a great selection of amenities. There are sixteen parks and sixteen fitness centers in the city. A definite promoter of healthy living. And not to forget about restaurants. My favorite spots to go to for eating are Go Go Sushi, Freshii and Planet Thai - the best food money can buy. The income per capita is pretty good here in Salmon, compared to the national average, Salmon Creek is 17% higher. So, with a great level of amenities, comes a high income per capita in the city. In addition, the average median income is nearly $74,000. The national average is under $55,000. Me and the family have a lot of fun in the city and we meet some really nice people in the process. The Vancouver Lake is just 20 minutes from the city.

The crime in the city is a little bit of a concern, 48% higher than the average, but it isn't unbearable. The poverty level is a lot lower than the national average, I seldomly see a homeless guy on the street where I stay and the kids seem to have a lot of fun and we like it here. So far so good.
