Rose Hill, Va - Great for Raising Kids User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) Absolute positive experiences for me living in Rose Hill, Va. One of the better cities to raise kids. Entails an incredible school system, low crime and an excellent employment rate.

I personally appreciate feeling safe walking with my kids down the street and them playing with their friends on the outside. I appreciate the credible statistics that reveals that overall crime is 68% lower than national average. Also, I appreciate the fact that the teacher to student ratio is 10:1 versus the national average of 16:1. And the fact that the average national test scores are 53% lower than Rose Hill, says that these teachers actually have a handle on their students and that's exactly what I want coming from my kid's school.

I love the average summer temperatures of 75 degrees. The parks are plentiful, somewhere that I like spending a lot of time at with the family. I personally like visiting the Mount Eagle Park, it entails a large clean area for having a huge cookout for kids to run in fun, engaging in tons of sports and activities in the process.
