If you want to live in a town that is beautiful and absolutely full of history, than Rock Island is a great place for you. We have everything from museums and culture, to interesting stories about our history, to great places to eat and shop. We have beautiful wooded areas and lovely lakes. Living in Rock Island is basically an artist's dream. There are so many scenes to sketch out before taking them to the easel to paint the beauty that is our town.

There are a lot of things that you could spend your time doing in Rock Island, whether you are an introvert or extrovert. Some of the best areas in Rock Island to visit are Figgee Art Museum for those as passionate about art as I, and the Black Hawk State Historic Site for those interested in our history, culture and natural beauty. For those looking for something a bit livelier, we even have an awesome casino and hotel to go along with it.
