Very Small town! 5 rating By jessemcmillon1991 ( Feb 26, 2017) My family is from Ringgold, we use to own at least 8 stores over the last 60 years in Ringgold. I love Ringgold because its a small friendly town, but to many attorney's downtown in Ringgold. I remember in the 90's when there use to be shop's s downtown to where you can go into a ...Read More nd at least buy products from, not anymore! There are a few shop's still downtown , but not many at all. Maybe only seven shops that sells stuff. One of them is next to the above the ridge and she isn't ever open. The Police use to care about you and it was the good ole boy system. Not anymore, its all about numbers with the Police Department. Ringgold has gotten their first college here. We can't keep business here because the CITY runs them off or shuts them down. If you like nightclub's and the nightlife , don't come here because Ringgold isn't for you. Our town is closed on Saturday - Sunday and Monday. We have had six bars here and every single one of them hasn't made it here. Because they City Council said '' Oh this is a Christian City and we don't won't that stuff here.'' We have a walking trail and a children park and that's it. Read Less
