Stone's Throw to The City That Never Sleeps 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) After my company relocated me to New Jersey, I was having trouble finding a place to live in Jersey City. Luckily, I took a drive north only a few miles and found Ridgefield, far from the craziness but close enough to all the action. Living in Ridgefield puts be in between the tw ...Read More o bridges that go into Manhattan, so I can enjoy shopping and eating at the best establishments in this country any time I choose.

The best areas in Ridgefield for me is the food. I have found a number of small diners that make the best pork roll, egg, and cheese, sandwiches, and also places like White castle with killer sliders for under a buck. Then you have the best independent Italian restaurants that look like movie props right out of Goodfellas or the Sopranos.

The New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway are seconds away and can get me to the best beaches on the Jersey Shore or places like Atlantic City and Cape May in short order. Read Less
