Rialto, CA: The Best Pizza In Southern California 3 rating By Anonymous ( Jul 06, 2010) I have traveled to Rialto five times. One of the main attractions this quaint city boasts is the Wigwam Motel. In addition to its value for being rare, the motel is also located on the historic Route 66. Guests will enjoy this clean and fun motel styled true to its name.

Rialto ...Read More is rich in history, believed to have been an area inhabited by Native American tribes over 500 years ago. After a devastating fire many years ago, much of the city has been rebuilt and now hosts many restaurants, shopping venues and some entertainment. One of the best restaurants in Rialto and perhaps the best (in my opinion) pizza restaurant in all of the greater Los Angeles area is Brother's Pizza. Brother's pizzas are as good as almost any authentic pizza found in New York City, and definitely worth the two hour drive!

The economy in Rialto is much like the rest of California: broken. Homes are still fairly expensive, jobs are few and commuting is tedious with congested heavy traffic. Residents are friendly and neighborhoods are clean and close-knit. This city is a great place to visit, but not to live in. Read Less

Rialto is a picturesque California city nestled in the foothills of San Bernardino County. With a population of just over 100,000, the city has a small town feel with all of the conveniences and comforts that you need for modern living. The city was incorporated in 1911, and it has played an important role in the development of the area from an economical and cultural perspective. Interstate 215 cuts through the city making it easy to get to larger cities in the area like Fontana and Ontario.

One of the main reasons why people move to Rialto from larger cities is to get away from the notorious California traffic. Thanks to a smaller population and a road system that was allowed to develop with the growth of the city. Unlike most cities nearby, driving around Rialto is a pleasant experience. Omnitran busses and shuttles do provide an alternative to driving for those who do not like to get behind the wheel. The service is reliable and affordable, although it is not as robust as it is in other California cities.

Bud Bender Park is the local area ball diamond where many a little leaguer has stood in the batter's box dreaming of hitting a home run over the distant fence in center field. Saturday afternoons in the summer will see a huge gathering at the park as parents watch their future pros compete against other city teams. Rialto City Park does not have the baseball fields of Bud Bender, but it is still a great place for the family to get together and chill on a cool weeknight. Roger Birdsall Park also has baseball fields and playgrounds where families can hang out after a long week at work and school.

Speaking of employment, Home Depot offers many job opportunities for Rialto residents who are skilled at home repair. The school district is always looking for qualified students and faculty to help meet the needs of an expanding student base.

Home prices in Rialto are some of the most affordable in the area, and residents are satisfied with the number of parks and green spaces that can be found in most neighborhoods. Downtown Rialto and the Airport District are a couple of areas that are worth checking out as part of your search for a home purchase or rental.

Rialto Middle School and Rialto High School meet the educational needs of many of the city's students. Both are located within a short walking distance of one another, making it possible for siblings to walk or drive together to school. Family life is one of the most appealing aspects of life in Rialto as the city is geared to serve their needs.
