Redmond, OR: Stunning City By The Forest

I've been living in Redmond for several years now but it didn't take me long to appreciate the natural beauty of the area. It's a short drive from a number of sprawling national forests which can make for unparalleled sightseeing and hiking, no matter what time of year it is. The local job market is fairly limited and the city itself is pretty basic, so if you're looking for an urban lifestyle, Redmond isn't for you. What it can offer you, however, is the chance to have a peaceful, relaxing life without worrying about the hustle and bustle of a big city. Without a doubt, the best area in Redmon is Mount Washington. It's not a far drive from downtown and words can't adequately describe it. If you're not yet ready to scale a mountain, the forest is still large enough that you can spend every weekend for years exploring it, and still not discover every corner.
