Big City Fun in Reading, PA User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( Jul 27, 2010) Few people think of Reading, Pennsylvania as a great travel destination, but if you are looking for a big city feel, without all the big city traffic, clutter, and noise, Reading is right for you. Located just an hour outside of Philadelphia, Reading has everything you could want ...Read More from a travel destination, or your new home. Living just a few hours away I have had a chance to travel to Reading a few times, and have always had great experiences when I stayed.

Reading is home to the AHL team the Manchester Monarchs, playing from October to April. You won't want to miss this heart pounding experience. Everyone in the crowd will be chanting, and you can't help but get swept up in the moment. If you want to take it slow, stop in for a show at the Berks Ballet Theater, or the Reading Symphony Orchestra. With interests in the arts, you will never be disappointed.

To cap off your evening I would suggest heading out to one of the great night clubs in Reading. There is a club or bar for just about every personality, or lifestyle. You won't be disappointed making a nice trip to Reading, I know I enjoy it every time I go. Read Less
