I've been living in Randallstown, Maryland, for a couple years now due to my job. It's a fairly small city, with a few areas it could improve on. The downtown area has a basic bus system which will get you around just the central part of the city, which is also where most of the stores are located. Having your own vehicle will certainly make it easier for you.

The crime in Randallstown is something you'll want to keep in the back of your mind, as it's quite higher than the state average. As such, the cost of living and real estate prices are both lower below average. In the summer, the weather is comfortable but a few days may break the triple-digit mark.

For me, one of the best areas in Randallstown was Wildwood Park. I spent many afternoons there with my dog and it's overall a very enjoyable place to get some fresh air and socialize.
