Rainelle is a dying little town, or I should say, it was a dying town 30 years ago. Now, there is really nothing there except a few country folk who don't have any way of escaping. There used to be a very large lumber yard where most of the men worked. It is now closed. There is ...Read More
no work, no attractions, a couple grocery stores and fast food restaurants. For nightlife, there is a little casino / pool hall and bars. Outsiders are not welcome and the people there as a whole are very unfriendly. I would not recommend anyone moving there, period.
