Due to its location between both Seattle and Tacoma, the area offers plentiful job opportunities in a myriad of industries.

Outdoor enthusiasts will delight in the many recreational opportunities the area affords its residents. The best areas in Port Orchard and the beaches and trails along Puget Sound. The nearby mountains also offer a multitude of hiking opportunities. Manchester State Park is a favorite among locals for its camping and hiking fun. The historic Log Cabin Museum is a step back in time, offering visitors a glimpse into the past.
