On the Edge of the Jersey Shore User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I moved to Pleasantville, New Jersey, after leaving my position at work in Wyoming. I was in Atlantic City a year earlier and remember driving through Pleasantville to get to the airport. I love living in Pleasantville because we are right on the edges of Atlantic City, but far e ...Read More nough away to avoid the tourists and congestion in the summer months.

I can jump on the Garden State Parkway and be to Wildwood beaches or the historic Cape May in less than an hour. The best areas in Pleasantville are all along the coast. We have the Lakes Bay on one side, then the Absecon Bay on the other. If you like the outdoors, you will love everything about this region.

I can jump on Route 40 and be in Delaware or Pennsylvania in less than an hour. My neighborhood is safe, the residents here are laid back and watch out for one another, and I can visit the new family-friendly Atlantic City to shop, hit the beach, or eat at the finest restaurants. Read Less
