Please disregard any positive reviews other than eating. 0.5 rating By Anonymous ( Dec 18, 2018) I hope that you reconsider moving to pine bluff with your family with any intention of getting them a quality education or a sense of security. You must lock your doors every day and night with the hope that no one breaks in to steal what you have worked hard to acquire for your ...Read More self. Shootings seem to be almost a daily activity in a city that had 60,000 residents in the 1990's to a now dwindling 40,000. If you know anything about population you will understand that when populations decrease in an area it is not too good. Crime is rampant and people are leaving at an expedited rate. The only thing I can say is worthwhile in the pine bluff area is the small business owners who work very hard to make the town somewhat livable. Please just do yourself a favor and look up crime statistics on this region itself and make an educated judgement call. Read Less
My Review of Pine Bluff, AR 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Feb 16, 2012) I was born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. I love the down home southern feel that engulfs the entire area. The people in Pine Bluff are the kind that knows their neighbors and you can borrow a cup of sugar from. Outside of the people here, there are great places to explore, ...Read More like The Bank Museum and the Delta Rivers Nature Center.

For those who are interested in the historical aspects of Pine Bluff, they will love the historic downtown area. Old shops with pure charm fill the streets in the historic district. Buildings have been well preserved and have an old world charm. The thirteen wall murals are a big attraction that draws many tourists. Come see all the paintings that depict a time when things were quite different than they are today.

If one gets hungry in Pine Bluff they are in luck. This area has some of the finest restaurants in the South; one certainly will not go hungry here. My favorite restaurant is the Arnold's Catfish Place. While it is not a big expensive restaurant, the food portions are enormous and the food is absolutely wonderful. It is possible to see Arnold and his family working in the kitchen and greeting guests year round. There are several fast food places, as well as great Mexican cuisines on nearly every corner.

There is certainly no reason to every leave Pine Bluff for me. The city has a charm and yet comfortable atmosphere to me that just feels like home. While this is a smaller town, of only around 50,000 people, it is big enough to have a great time. It's the kind of town you can leave your door unlocked at night and everybody waves as they pass down the streets. It's one of the best places to live and visit there is.
