arkland is such a small city with a population of around 35,000, the feeling of community is very present. The community is tight knit and is always around for support. Newcomers are always welcome!
One thing to keep in mind when moving to Parkland is that real estate is scarce. Even though not many people live there, the West Coast of Washington tends to be very expensive and houses to buy or rent are hard to find.
Another thing about Parkland is that it has a higher than average incidence of drug related crimes. Drug using and selling are quite common, although the city is still a safe and mostly crime free place to live.
