Papillion Nebraska: A Paris Inspired Frontier City 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I experienced a fantastic time while living in Papillion Nebraska. The city is an extension of Sarpy County. Papillion Nebraska is close to Omaha and is named after the creek that is in the center of the city. Papillion has excellent scholastic programs, it houses Nebraska Christian College as well as the Association for Biblical Higher Education. Crime rates are at an all-time low. Employment and housing opportunities are very favorable.

Some of the best areas in Papillion Nebraska surround Halleck Park. This district is very picturesque. It encompasses Papio Bay Aquatic Park, Papio Pool, Papio Fun Park, and Papio Bowl. I bring my family to this area a couple times during the week. There is an abundance of activities and recreational amenities there. The weather is decent year round. The town hosts parades, festivals, and other community events that gets the entire town involved. It's a great place to live. Read Less
