Small Town Close By User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) Living here isn't bad, but finding a job is near impossible right now. The cost of living is low, but I think the unemployment here is nearly 4% and I have some friends who are looking with no luck. The city is definitely growing, so maybe we'll get more job opportunities soon. E ...Read More verything is pretty close by, within a 15 min drive. There are a ton of public school options and they're all excellent. My kids go to Owatonna High School and it's been really great. There are a ton of parks, rivers, walking trails, etc so it's really good for people who enjoy the outdoors. We really like camping and the area is perfect for things like that. I think the airport is about 45 minutes away, which really isn't too bad at all. It's kind of a small town, but it is growing, so hopefully some new things will be made soon. Overall, I really enjoy living here and it's great for families. Read Less
