Olympia, WA - Lots of Fun for the Whole Family 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 25, 2010) I took my family to Olympia, Washington for a weekend getaway, we had a blast. I would highly recommend anyone to visit the city. There was so much for us to do in Olympia, unfortunately we were only there for two days and could not see all the sights and attractions.

First thi

The home was filled with a lot of historical artifacts. The kids really enjoyed reading this piece of history. We also checked out the Hands On Children's Museum. This is the perfect place to take the kids. The museum had a lot of activities that were designed for the kids to be actively involved, it truly has something for all age groups. The only thing that we did not like was that the price of admission was the same for children as it was for adults, which is $7.95, However the children two and under can attend for free. We stayed at the Governor Hotel right in Olympia. This was a very nice hotel and the staff was truly helpful as far as giving directions to our planned destinations. The hotel is centrally located to most tourist's attractions and is a perfect jump off to all things to see and do in Olympia. Read Less
