f the major streets, everything slows down. We boast a large number of parks that are the best areas in Olney; some with a skateboard park and dog park included.
Our proximity to the Federal Government in Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia has maintained a stable the job market here, while others have struggled. Northern Virginia offers an abundance of job opportunities if you happen to be in the Information Technology industry. What is on the other side of the work coin is dealing with the traffic getting back and forth, D. C. area traffic is notoriously bad. But it’s worth every minute sitting in traffic to keep my family living in Olney.
