The jobs weren't too bad since Old Bridge is fairly urbanized. You can probably find a decent full-time job or a couple part-time ones easily enough, depending on your preferences. In the summer, there is a bit more to do such as some local festivals or heading to Cheesequake State Park, which I think is the best area in Old Bridge. You will need your own car to get around though since the buses in town don't cover much outside the downtown area. Overall, it isn't a terrible place to live if you don't mind a quiet town.
