Ogden, UT - Small Town Escapades 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Jul 28, 2010) If you haven't been to Ogden, then you are in for a real treat. The people are outstanding, the food is world class and there is so much to do with your family. I stayed in Ogden, Utah for 7 days last winter and was blown away by the amount of things to do there.

I don't ski bu ...Read More t the city of Ogden is known for its skiing and outdoor sports. I got to try skiing for a reasonable price with an excellent trainer named Matt. They have the Solomon Center, which is a cool place with a vertical wind tunnel, hiking, and my favorite - the Pineview Reservoir for fishing, and other water sports.

If you get a chance during your visit to Ogden, check out Perry's Egyptian Theater, where they perform live musical and theatrical acts. It has a unique history and you can even get to tour the building. Its was great for me, coming with my family, to be able to exposed my young children to performing arts, and musical styles for a cheap price.

It's really close to Salt Lake City, so if you want to go shopping or eat at popular restaurants, your are only 30 or less minutes away from it all. Read Less
