Crime in Oakville is much lower than the state average. If you have children, the school system is well funded and ranks above most cities. You'll be able to easily find a job in the area, especially if you work in finance or technology.
One of the best areas in Oakville, in my opinion, is Cliff Cave County Park. It's right along the Mississippi River and it's a great place to spend some time in the summer, having a picnic or going for a jog early in the morning. Overall, the city provides ample opportunities for business, education, and leisure.
