Not for me 2 rating By Whyno ( Apr 29, 2024) North little rock is a very outdated and dirty city. It is definitely showing it's age and the infrastructure is decades old. Most stores, restaurants and houses are old and in need of serious remodeling or repair. The people are generally ok to a point. Like anywhere they're fri ...Read More endly enough, but definitely not the nicest.. downtown has a few spots to eat at, but nothing that will bring you back. There's a arena that has sports and concert venues. The highlight would be the parks and trails. Burns park is a very nice park next to some not so nice neighborhoods.. the little rock area in general is outdated and if it wasn't for all the trees and hills, it would be just like Memphis. North Little Rock, AR - A Fun Place to Visit 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 11, 2010) I recently visited North Little Rock, Arkansas. My job required that I stay there for a few days. The Hilton on Glover Lane was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The room service and the early wake-up calls, were the top two things that stood out to me the most, it do ...Read More es seem to me that they went that extra mile to make sure that I was comfortable.

If you have never eaten at the Dixie Pig restaurant on W. 30th Street, you just do not know what you're missing. Their barbecue was so tender, it melted in my mouth. I would recommend, that if you are ever in the area, to give them a try. The portion that you get for the price you pay, was very reasonable. One of the best restaurants in North Little Rock in my opinion.

A couple of my coworkers and I decided we wanted to go out for a couple of drinks in North Little Rock. We found this real nice restaurant and bar called the Fox & Hound. We were so impressed that this was a smoke free environment. We could relax and play some pool and at the same time, watch a basketball game from anywhere in the bar. They had six huge big flat screen televisions. They also had a karaoke bar, and it was a blast to see everyone get up there and make a fool of themselves.

Even though I was there to work, the city of North Little Rock was a fun city to explore. Read Less
